DINA LEVKOV

Foundation Chair

Dina currently works as a Sr. Project Specialist for Sutter Medical Foundation Integrated Quality Services. Dina holds a BS in Business Administration (Finance and Business Law, Minor in Economics) from Cal State Northridge (CSUN) and an MBA from UC Davis. She has over 17 combined years of experience working in leadership roles in Human Resources, Safety and Security/investigations, and post-MBA has worked in Analytics and Project Management. Dina’s past community service leadership roles include supporting early childhood reading and working for the VITA program, which provides free tax return preparation for low income families and individuals. While working on her MBA, Dina served as Vice President of Challenge 4 Charity (C4C), a student-run organization supporting the Special Olympics, Habitat for Humanity, and the Sacramento Boys and Girls Club. Dina is very excited to serve as a Program & Events Co-Chair of the Satellite Club of PWR and is looking forward to helping grow the organization and develop more great innovative service activities in the coming year.

ERIK CARLOW

Treasurer

Born and raised in California’s central valley, Erik received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from California State University, Fresno, and his MBA from the University of California at Davis. While working toward his MBA in Marketing and Data Analytics, Erik served as President of the school’s chapter of Challenge for Charity. As president, Erik lead record-setting fundraising and volunteer activities for local charities while helping future business leaders engage with their community. Erik currently works as a business analyst for Intel’s America’s Operations. Prior to Intel, Erik spent several years managing retail pharmacy locations as well as serving as a consultant for private, non-profit, and government clients. When he is not working, you can generally find Erik climbing a mountain or paddling on a lake or stream.

GURKERN SUFI

President

Gurkern Sufi is the Founder and CEO of Ravata Solutions, a laboratory automation device manufacturer specializing in embryo handling and in-vitro fertilization. Gurkern’s background extends from his technical training in bioinformatics, molecular biology, and data science to financial reporting, deployment of operational strategies, and business development in his current role at Ravata. A Sacramento native Gurkern has volunteered in the disadvantaged Oak Park and North Highlands communities for several years and is particularly interested in local environment and economic sustainability activities including trashtag meetups, community reforestation and supporting youth leadership. Recreationally Gurkern is an avid golfer and soccer enthusiast who enjoys challenging hikes and backpacking trips.

PAUL ENDELMAN

President Elect

Paul started in a planning department for Oxnard California. He quickly decided to return to Sacramento to help his family with Balanced Body Inc. While there he championed their community impact, represented the company all over the world, and embraced his inner data nerd as an analyst. Outside of work he helped kick off Habitat for Humanity Young Professionals and DBA arts. He worked on projects around the arts and volunteerism through Global Shapers and directly with arts groups. He left Sacramento and earned his MBA at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology with a semester studying at London Business School. During which he won several accolades in start up and case competitions, earned attendance at an Aspen institute seminar at Oxford’s Said Business School, and worked with Mills Fabrica analyzing venture investments. Since returning late 2018, Paul has become the Curator of the Sacramento Global Shapers Hub. He has begun working on early stage starts-ups in the areas of Arts and personal development. He is also consulting for Pilates Studios on their marketing and business issues.

VENITA SIVAMANI

Secretary

Venita Sivamani is Founder and CEO of LearnSkin, a dermatology education company for healthcare professionals. The mission of LearnSkin is to bridge the gap between patients and practitioners through integrative medicine and a complete approach to health care. Venita is passionate about education and improving healthcare. A former teacher, she received her undergraduate degree and MBA from UC Davis. Venita is a 40 Under 40 honoree and recipient of the NAWBO Woman on the Way award. As a Rotary and Visions board member, Venita enjoys volunteering on educational, environmental, and healthcare projects locally and abroad.
